About Me
My name is Katie Flaherty, and I am a senior graphic design and public relations double major, minoring in marketing and sustainability at Roger Williams University. This past summer, I interned with the Valley Blue Sox, a collegiate summer baseball team, as their social media intern. Through this experience, I curated content to promote the team and connect with our fans. In producing interactive posts and providing game day coverage, I was able to engage fans and drive interaction through our online platforms. This experience allowed me to expand on my graphic design and PR skills, and I look forward to continuing to grow in this field.
Aside from experience working in sports, I have used my design skills to craft messages around sustainability that inform and educate on its importance. I try to lead by example, incorporating sustainability into my own life by recycling when I can and using eco-friendly products.Â
